A flooded basement causes stress, damage and often long-term moisture problems if not handled quickly.
At Patsan Plumbing, we are ready to pump out any flooded basement using professional equipment. We remove the water efficiently and help minimise damage to walls, floors and piping. Thanks to our fast response times across the Antwerp region, you’re never left waiting.
What causes basement flooding?
Basement flooding can happen to anyone — even in well-maintained homes.
Common causes include heavy rainfall, a clogged drain, faulty sump pumps or a leak in the water line. In some cases, water infiltration in the basement occurs due to incorrect outdoor drainage or an overloaded sewer system.
We identify the cause and provide a long-term solution to ensure your basement doesn’t flood again.
Groundwater in the basement: how does it happen?
Groundwater in the basement is a common issue, especially in older homes or areas with a high water table.
When groundwater levels rise, water can enter through floor slabs, walls, tiny cracks or a failing waterproofing layer.
We pump the basement dry and examine where the groundwater intrusion occurs, allowing us to give proper advice for repairs or prevention.
